Willow is an adorable little donkey in a striped purple '70s 'onsie'. He wakes up one morning, wondering about happiness and where it lay. Thus begins his adventurous quest to find happiness. He visits many wonderous places and discovers many marvellous creatures - but the happiness he was looking for eludes him. As he reflects on his day he has an epiphany into the nature and source of happiness.

The rhymes and illustrations work together in the book to engage young readers in counting up to fifteen whilst the story itself plants a seed of age-old universal wisdom on happiness - a seed we hope blossoms with time and guides our young readers in their journey through life.
